Places to visit
From Casa Taggiasco you can reach the Côte d’Azur in 20 minutes by motorway: Monaco, Nice, Cannes are not far.
The hinterland is rich in vegetation and in interesting localities regarding culture, nature and sport and also in restorants famous for the mediterranean cooking.
Half day or one day excursions:
You can visit Sanremo, Bussana Vecchia (the town of the artists), Bordighera, Ventimiglia, il Principato of Seborga, Apricale, Dolceacqua, Triora and other medieval localities; Imperia Porto Maurizio, Cervo, Alassio, Portofino, Le Cinque Terre.
We will be pleased to recommend the restaurants where you can enjoy the typical dishes of Mediterranean cooking, the wine shops where you can buy the excellent Rossese or the delicate Vermentino, the oil presses where the famous extravergin oil is produced with the excellent Taggia olives.
Who wishes to go beyond the “Alpi Marittime”, in the nearby Piedmont, can enjoy the rich Piedmontese cooking, based on different kinds of meat and cheeses, and taste the famous wines like Barolo and Moscato.

A wonderful cycle path has been opened between Sanremo, Ospedaletti and San Lorenzo; it runs along the sea for the joy of cyclists, walkers and families. The hinterland offers cyclists countless circuits, set in a natural landscape and is available all the year round.
